As a Master Chef you will learn the Improved Stove, which is a significant improvement over the basic one.

Gather Black Ice

Black Ice can be found in colder regions - it is a crucial resource for blacksmiths in that you will need it to produce Hardened Steel. Gather Black Ice with your Pick or Pickaxe for the best result.

Equip your Pick and swing it at Black Ice nodes with Attack.

Unlock the Preservation Box Knowledge

Preservation Boxes prevent Food and other items from decaying over time.

Unlock Preservation Box from the Knowledge menu.

Store food in a Preservation Box

For the Preservation Box to work, you will need to put Ice inside it.

Once you have done so, you can store food in your preservation box indefinitely.

Craft and Place an Improved Stove
The Improved Stove is sturdier and has more inventory space than a regular stove and is a fundamental upgrade for any self-respecting Chef.

Place or Move a Cook near the Improved Stove.
Cooks allow you to craft foods you may not already have the knowledge for yourself. They also increase the speed of the cooking process.

Cook a Feast

Feasts are the most powerful types of food. Not only do Feasts get rid of any hunger pains you might have had, but they also quench your thirst and frequently grant you other bonuses or buffs as well.

Craft a Feast in the crafting panel of a Stove.
